Bytoa is seeking an energetic and organized System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. 

In this role, you will be actively involved in the entire lifecycle of complex systems, from initial design and integration to deployment and maintenance. You will be a key figure in helping to drive our mission forward by ensuring our technical architecture is robust and aligned with program goals.

Salary range: $130,000-$155,000

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architectural design and integration of complex, enterprise-level systems.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to track and manage technical tasks and milestones.
• Support the implementation of strategic plans for infrastructure management and automation.
• Act as a technical point of contact, collaborating between the engineering team and program management.

Skills Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles, standards, and the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with network profiling, fingerprinting, and security principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and organize technical tasks and priorities.
• Experience contributing to the design or architecture of IT systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Haves:

• Previous leadership experience.
• Experience with web hosting/monitoring.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda) and/or containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Background or familiarity with mobile technology systems and infrastructure.
• Experience working within an Agile or a DevOps environment.
• Relevant professional certifications.

Experience Requirement: 

• 3 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Clearance Requirement: 

• Active TS/SCI with a polygraph
